Barnendu Sarkar is an experienced professional with a strong background in user growth, monetization, and strategic management across various high-profile companies. Currently part of Brick & Bolt in the Founder's Office since October 2024, Barnendu previously worked at PhysicsWallah from December 2022 to October 2024 as a P&L leader overseeing user growth and monetization for a substantial hybrid learning offering. At Unacademy, from December 2020 to December 2022, notable achievements include launching multiple categories for 'Relevel by Unacademy' and significantly scaling educator pools. Prior roles include driving user acquisition at OYO and enhancing product growth at 1mg, along with extensive consulting experience at Gartner. Barnendu holds an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and a BTech in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur.
