Jake Zwiebel is an experienced automation systems engineer currently working at BC Ferries since February 2022, where responsibilities include diagnostics and performance testing, software configuration management, technical research, and compliance inspections for vessel operational technology. Previously, Jake held the position of PT Systems Engineer at IBA, providing support for sophisticated software-electro-mechanical systems and operating a 230MeV Particle Accelerator Radiotherapy System. Jake's earlier experience at Lockheed Martin spanned various roles, including Certified Principal Engineer and Power Converter Design Engineer, focusing on project leadership, subsystem requirements, hardware troubleshooting, and power supply design in aerospace applications. Jake holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Penn State University, achieved in 2011.
