Gerald Magno

Gerald Magno currently serves as the Head of Education at the British Council, leading the education portfolio in the Philippines since May 2025. Prior to this role, Gerald held positions at the Department of Education in the Philippines as a Senior Education Program Specialist and Project Development Officer III from August 2016 to May 2025, providing technical and administrative support for various foreign-assisted projects. Gerald also worked as a Lecturer at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, teaching Political Science and International Studies from June 2018 to July 2022, and served as a New Media Specialist and Consultant for the Senate of the Philippines from June 2009 to May 2016, where responsibilities included developing media strategies and managing social media communications. Gerald's education includes a Master's in International Studies from the University of the Philippines and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
