Sonja Gray

Sonja Gray has extensive experience in the nonprofit and education sectors, currently serving as a Senior Planning and Performance Executive at the British Heart Foundation since June 2014, while also undertaking a secondment as Fundraising Process and Content Manager to establish new fundraising frameworks. Previously, Sonja held roles in the Philanthropy team, including Philanthropy Operations Manager, Philanthropy Operations Executive, and Major Gifts Coordinator/PA. Prior to joining the British Heart Foundation, Sonja gained teaching experience at Mayville Primary School, where classroom and SEN and EAL teaching received an 'Outstanding' grade, and at St Patrick's Catholic Primary School, also achieving an 'Outstanding' rating for year 5 classroom teaching. Sonja holds a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education from Canterbury Christ Church University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Goldsmiths, University of London.
