William Mooney

William Mooney has extensive experience in IT application support and development, currently serving as the IT Application Support & Development Manager at the British Red Cross since November 2017, focusing on delivering effective IT services to help individuals in crisis. Prior to this role, William held various positions at Lloyds Banking Group from March 2000 to January 2017, including IT Service Manager, where responsibilities included managing key systems for Scottish Widows, and roles as a Java Developer and Team Leader & Senior Developer during the integration of Lloyds TSB and Scottish Widows. Earlier career experience includes positions as Team Leader/Senior Developer at Scottish Widows and IT Developer at Scottish Legal Life Assurance Society. William Mooney holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computing Science from the University of the West of Scotland and an HND in Computing from Glasgow Kelvin College.
