Patricia Gillis, P. Eng. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Patricia started their career in 2002 as a Student Engineer at IMP Group Limited Aerospace Division, where they conducted research, provided customer support, and maintained databases. In 2003, they worked as a Student HVAC Engineer at Alscott Air Systems Limited, handling contract review, equipment ordering, and engineering calculations. From 2004 to 2022, they held various roles at Alscott Air Systems Ltd., including HVAC Project Engineer and Engineering Manager, overseeing projects and managing the engineering team. Currently, Patricia serves as the Director of Engineering at Bronswerk Group, where they lead the engineering department.

Patricia Gillis, P. Eng. earned a B. Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. In 2011 to 2012, they obtained a Certificate in Process Instrumentation & Control from Dalhousie University College of Continuing Education. In 2020, they acquired a Certificate in Introduction to Finite Element Analysis from The American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
