Cathy Popowytsch

Cathy Popowytsch has extensive experience in marketing and membership management within the arts sector. Currently serving as the Director of Membership at Brooklyn Botanic Garden since September 2017, Cathy has successfully raised over $2.7 million in membership income. Previously, as Marketing Director for The New Group, responsibilities included overseeing marketing for productions and managing communications across departments. Cathy also held the position of Marketing Manager at Signature Theatre Company, contributing to the opening of The Pershing Square Signature Center, and served as Director of Marketing at New York Theatre Workshop, where marketing initiatives were developed for multiple productions. Early career experience includes a marketing assistant role at Playwrights Horizons and freelance consulting in marketing and copywriting. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/Theatre Arts Management from Fordham University.
