Matthew Shannon

Matthew Shannon is currently a Reactor Fuelling Engineering Trainee and previously held the position of Systems Engineering Trainee at Bruce Power since January 2022, where responsibilities include serving as the Responsible System Engineer for Bruce B Turbines and Auxiliaries. Prior experience includes serving as Project Engineering Lead at Tetra Tech from January 2020 to December 2021, focusing on a large motor program, and as a Quality Specialist at Aecon Group Inc. from May 2019 to January 2020. Additional roles include a Lessons Learned Coop Student at SNC-Lavalin and a Corrective Action Specialist Coop at Aecon Group Inc. Matthew's career began with a Cooperative Education Student position at Bruce Power in 2017. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering from Ontario Tech University, earned in 2019.
