Shannon Eblen

Shannon Eblen is a seasoned journalist and editor currently serving as the Magazine Editor and Writer at Bryn Mawr College since January 2024. With a rich freelance background dating back to August 2009, Shannon has contributed articles to prominent publications including The New York Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and Salon. Previously, Shannon held the position of Content Director at Opera Philadelphia from January 2018 to January 2024, overseeing the development of web, print, and social media content. Shannon's experience also includes roles as a Features Reporter at Courier-Post, Fabric Coordinator at Theory, and various positions in the creative and nonprofit sectors. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art from Centre College.
