Varun P. Balan

Varun P. Balan serves as the Chief of Staff to the CEO at BSI Financial Services since January 2023, also leading the Servicing Analytics team. Prior to this role, Varun co-founded RMI Insights, developing automated 3-statement financial modeling technology and holds two patents. Varun's experience includes serving as Chief of Staff to the CEO at Birdcall, where responsibilities extended to financial modeling and site acquisitions, and founding Rocky Mountain Innovations LLC, a financial modeling consulting business. Earlier roles include managing operations at Jaan Health Inc., working with C-Level executives at Related Companies, and serving as an analyst in J.P. Morgan's Investment Banking Division. Varun holds dual bachelor's degrees in Applied Science (Applied Mathematics) and Political Economy from the University of Pennsylvania and has previous experience with NASA and Lenfest Media Group.
