Jim Wiltraut

Jim Wiltraut is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in federal government relations and public affairs, currently serving as Senior Principal at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney since March 2002. With a distinguished 44-year career in the United States Navy, culminating as a retired Captain, Jim Wiltraut held various command and senior staff roles, including Senior Public Affairs Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of Defense and Director of Public Affairs for the U.S. European Command. His dedication to enhancing representation is further reflected in prior roles, such as Director of Constituent Services for Congressman Paul McHale, where Jim focused on securing federal funding for vital projects. Jim Wiltraut's educational background includes a BA in Political Science from UMass Boston and advanced military education from prestigious institutions such as the Joint Forces Staff College and the Naval War College.
