Robert Saxon is an experienced professional in architecture and urban planning with a diverse background spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Property Rehabilitation Construction Manager at the Detroit Land Bank Authority since November 2013, Robert oversees renovation teams for key rehabilitation programs like Rehabbed & Ready, aimed at enhancing homeownership opportunities and revitalizing neighborhoods. As the Sole Proprietor of Robert Saxon, Jr. AIA, Robert has managed various assessment and renovation projects in Wayne County, while also founding the Urban Design Workshop (IMHOTEP) to educate high school students about architecture. Previous roles include Senior Architect at Hamilton Anderson Associates, where Robert contributed to numerous significant renovations and development projects, and an early career as an Intern Architect at Saxon Capers Architects, among other positions. Robert holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning and Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and Architecture from Princeton University.
