Building Impact
Kate Kerrigan is currently the Vice President Programs at Building Impact, where Kate works to strengthen communities by providing individuals, universities, and companies with the opportunity to volunteer, donate, and connect in their communities. Prior to this role, Kate held positions at United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley, International Partners in Mission, Rustic Pathways, Seeds of Hope, Youth For Seva Delhi, and the City of San Luis Obispo. Kate has a Master of Arts degree in International/Global Studies from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science with a minor in Child Development from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

Building Impact’s mission is to strengthen communities by empowering individuals and companies with the opportunity to volunteer, donate, and connect with high impact, local nonprofits working on critical social issues. WAYS TO SERVE Building Impact delivers high quality volunteer, donation, and networking opportunities to our clients to help them become more civically engaged. Through our Annual Programming, Building Impact offers several convenient ways for participants to serve local communities in-need: Donation Drives Volunteer Social Events In-Office Volunteer Events Pop-Up Shops & Lobby Events for Social Enterprises One-Off Donations Blood Drives Nonprofit Hosting We also provide teams and companies opportunities to leave their offices to go out into the community for hands-on volunteering in a Corporate Day of Service. OUR REACH We currently deliver community programming to 60+ buildings across Greater Boston, Metrowest, and the Merrimack Valley in communities including Andover, Boston, Burlington, Cambridge, Charlestown, Concord, Framingham, Needham, Newton, Marlborough, Medford, Lowell, Quincy, Waltham, and Woburn.
