BULKHEAD
Howard Philpott has a diverse range of work experience in the gaming industry. Howard is currently working as a Lead Game Designer for Bulkhead Interactive, where they oversee design and production for multiple projects published by Square Enix. Howard has also held roles in management, production, and marketing for the company.
Before joining Bulkhead Interactive, Howard co-founded Deco Digital, an independent game development studio. As the Lead Artist and Marketing Strategist, they played a key role in the success of their debut title 'Pneuma: Breath of Life' on multiple platforms. Howard designed and created 3D environments for the game using Unreal Engine 4.
Earlier in their career, Howard worked as a Sales Assistant at Game Retail Ltd. and as an Environment Artist & Level Designer at The Pixel Bullies.
Howard Philpott attended Droitwich Spa High School from 2005 to 2009. Howard then pursued a BTEC National Diploma in Games Design at Bromsgrove New College from 2009 to 2011. Lastly, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Games Modelling and Animation from the University of Derby, where they studied from 2011 to 2014.
