Burgess & Niple
Brian Toombs has extensive experience in transportation systems design and planning, particularly in freeway interchange configurations. Brian has been with Burgess & Niple, Inc. since 1998, where they currently serve as the Director of Transportation Systems Design and Planning and Freeway Interchange Specialist. In this role, they manage complex roadway design projects and is responsible for developing innovative and cost-effective interchange solutions. Prior to joining Burgess & Niple, Inc., Brian worked as a co-op at The Ohio Department of Transportation. Brian is also an Adjunct Professor at The Ohio State University, where they co-teaches a class on highway location and design.
Brian Toombs attended The Ohio State University from 1993 to 1998 where they received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering.
