Ellie Socha has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ellie currently works as the Head of Operations - Community Programmes at Business in the Community, where they lead a team to deliver volunteering programmes that support local communities. Prior to this, Ellie served as the Apprenticeship Hub Manager at Western Training Provider Network, overseeing workforce planning, advice, and funding support for small businesses. Ellie also worked as the Business Partnerships Manager at GlobalGiving, leading the UK's Business Development team in delivering charitable giving programmes. Ellie's previous experience includes roles at The Diana Award, where they managed mentoring programmes, developed and managed a new team for the flagship Mentoring Programme, and led various educational projects. Ellie began their career as an Online Content Editor at My Small World and gained international experience as a Microfinance Programme Support Intern in Malawi at Deki and as a Programmes Intern at the International Childcare Trust.
Ellie Socha earned a Bachelor's Degree in International Development and Geography from the University of Leeds between 2008 and 2011. In addition, they obtained certifications in Leadership and Management from ILM (year not specified) and in Project Management from the Directory of Social Change in 2016.
