Abigail Cain is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in audience development and editorial roles. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of Audience Development at BuzzFeed since May 2021, Abigail has previously held positions as SEO Lead, Senior SEO Strategist, and SEO Strategist within the same organization. Prior to BuzzFeed, Abigail worked as an Editor at Backstage and as Head Editor at Flip, where responsibilities included writing and editing multiple articles weekly. A freelance writer from March 2018 to June 2019, Abigail also gained valuable experience at Artsy as an Associate Editor & Producer, overseeing article writing and editing while managing the Artsy Podcast. With a background that includes internships at NPR, Brown Alumni Magazine, and Texas Monthly, Abigail holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & History of Art and Architecture from Brown University.
