Paul Cooksey

Paul Cooksey has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Shutdown Coordinator at BW Offshore since March 2022. Previously, Cooksey held various roles at BW Offshore, including Operations Superintendent and Senior Operations Technician. Experience also includes positions as Operations Technician at Wood, Production Supervisor at Repsol Sinopec Resources UK, and CRO/Production Technician at BG Group. Cooksey's career began with contracting as a pipefitter in the North Sea and includes a solid technical foundation established during an apprenticeship at Vickers Shipbuilding & Engineering LTD. Cooksey's educational background includes multiple NVQ qualifications in hydrocarbon processing and operations, as well as certifications in offshore petroleum technology and marine plumbing.
