Matt Fishbein is the SVP, Consumer & Retail at BWG Strategy. Matt has over 8 years of experience in the financial industry.
Fishbein began their career at PNC in February 2014 as an Associate in the Asset Management group. In this role, they were responsible for conducting research and due diligence on potential investments for the firm. Matt also served as a relationship manager for PNC's Private Client Group.
In October 2015, Fishbein joined Jefferies as an Associate in their Equity Research group covering the Consumer Sector - Packaged Food & Agribusiness. Matt was promoted to Vice President in September 2019 and covered the Consumer Sector - Food, Grocery Retail, Convenience Retail, and Grocery Distributors.
Fishbein left Jefferies in September 2019 to join Deutsche Bank as a Vice President in their Equity Research group covering the Global Food sector. Matt remained with Deutsche Bank until September 2020 when they transitioned to their current role at BWG Strategy.
Matt Fishbein has a MBA in Finance from Rutgers Business School and a BA in Mathematics from Rutgers University.
Matt Fishbein reports to Bill Williams, Founder and CEO. Some individuals on their team include Brian Hewett - Senior Manager, Sales, Brian Hewett - Sales Executive, and Pete Edelson - Director, Sales. Matt Fishbein works with Andrew Keller - Head of Forum Recruiting, Scott Denne - Director of Research, Technology, and Jake Eisenstodt - Director, Business Development & Relationship Management.
