Ani Karapetyan

Ani Karapetyan has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Ani started their career in 2000 at the Central Bank of Armenia, where they held multiple roles such as People & Culture Coordinator, Corporate Governance Expert, Senior Bank Supervisor, and Monetary Policy Department Specialist. In these roles, they conducted on-site examinations, prepared supervisory reports, and assessed the quality of corporate governance and risk management. Ani also managed a team of workers for supervision at the leading bank in Armenia.

Ani later worked as a Psychologist at Soul design Studio and as a Psychotherapist at ArMed | STRESS Mental Health Center and APAGA Psychological Service Center. Additionally, they served as the Internal Audit Manager at ADGF Armenian Deposit Guarantee Fund.

In more recent years, Ani worked as a Lecturer in Financial Management at Financial Bank College. Ani is currently the Head of HR at Byblos Bank Armenia CJSC and is a member of the International Coaching Federation.

Ani Karapetyan's education history includes multiple degrees and certificates. Ani obtained a Master's Degree in Psychotherapist & clinical psychology from ASPU After Kh. Abovyan from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy & Psychology from the same institution from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their academic degrees, Ani also completed an online learning course in the Financial Stability Institute (FSI) connect, special program offered by the Bank for International Settlements – BIS in 2010 to 2012. Ani further expanded their knowledge in accounting by studying Financial Reporting Standards at the International Accountancy and Business (IAB) Center in 2003. Ani also received training in Accounting by International Standards and Basics of Taxation from the Economics and Law Information Research Center in 2002. Furthermore, they achieved an Executive Certificate in Management (ECM) program for Fall 2023 from the American University of Armenia. Ani's educational journey began with a Master's Degree in the Faculty of Management from an unnamed University, which they completed from 1995 to 2000.
