Niamh Furey is an experienced professional in international development and environmental sustainability, currently serving as an Environment Advisor at CAFOD since September 2019, where previous roles included Programme Officer for Afghanistan and Brazil. Prior to CAFOD, Niamh held positions at RefuAid from June 2017 to September 2019, including Education & Employment Lead and UK Projects Assistant. Earlier experience includes a role as a Business & Marketing Analyst at The Intern Group in 2015. Niamh holds an MA in International Studies and Diplomacy from SOAS University of London and a BA in Modern Languages (Spanish & Portuguese) from the University of Oxford, along with a Permaculture Design Course certificate from New School Permaculture.
