Douglas Peterson

Douglas Peterson is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in patent litigation and data privacy. At CalAmp, Douglas served as General Counsel & Secretary from October 2021 to January 2024, following a role as Deputy General Counsel, where responsibilities included overseeing data privacy and patent litigation. Prior to CalAmp, Douglas held the position of Senior Counsel at Kite Pharma and spent over a decade at Steptoe & Johnson LLP as Of Counsel, alongside early experience as an Associate at Fulwider Patton LLP. Douglas earned a Juris Doctor degree in Intellectual Property from the Chicago-Kent College of Law and a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
