Shane Westcott

Shane Westcott has over 19 years of experience with the Calgary Board of Education, currently serving as Director of Service Transformation, focusing on improving service efficiency and resource allocation for classrooms. Previous roles include IT Director on secondment, Manager of Client Technology Services, Acting Manager of Technology Support, and Supervisor of Technology Support, with responsibilities encompassing service delivery oversight, vendor management, and strategic project initiatives. Shane also contributed to the Government of Alberta as a Field Capacity Support in Technology Planning and Research and has a progressive background in technology support roles. Academically, Shane holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from DeVry Institute of Technology.
