Eng. Nelson Jabour

Nelson Jabour, Eng., MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Nelson began their career as a Liewtenent Engineer at the Brazil Department of Defense from 1996 to 2000. After that, they joined Embraer in various roles, including Customer Support Manager, Aircraft Systems & Structures Engineering Integrator, Customer Support Director, and ultimately becoming the Head of Program Management Office. During their time at Embraer, they managed the performance of the in-service operational World Wide fleet and was responsible for the development and certification of aircraft systems. In 2017, they joined Mitsubishi Heavy Industries as the SVP, Head of Customer Support Division, where they established the SpaceJet M90/M100/M200 World Wide Customer Support & Services. This involved completing the World Wide Strategy for Business Plan, implementing World Class Customer Support & Services in Japan, and creating a roadmap for digital solutions. Currently, Nelson Jabour is the Head of PMO (Industrial Operations and Product Support) at Calidus, LLC, where they are responsible for budget definition and control to meet program goals.

Nelson Jabour completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Aeronautics Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA between 1991 and 1995. In 2007 and 2008, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Management from UNIBTA - Centro Universitário. Additionally, Nelson participated in the Embraer New Leaders Development Program from 2003 to 2005, focusing on Management & Administration. Nelson also attended the Excellence Program - Leadership Training at the Embraer Internal Training School from 2008 to 2017, where they acquired knowledge on Lean Concept, Kaizen Promotion, and Agile (Scrum) methodologies. Nelson further enriched their skill set by completing the PMBOK Training at the Embraer Internal Training School in 2011 and 2012, concentrating on Program Management and PMP. In 2015, they participated in the Leadership Development Program at Embraer, emphasizing Management & Administration. Moreover, in the same year, Nelson completed the APG - Advanced Managing Program from Amana-Key, specializing in HR Management.
