Kathryn Theiss

Kathryn Theiss is an experienced academic with a focus on biology, currently serving as an Associate Professor of Biology at California State University-Dominguez Hills since August 2015, following a tenure as Assistant Professor of Biology. Prior to this role, Kathryn held a position as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Willamette University from April 2012 to March 2015 and completed a Conservation Science Internship at the Chicago Botanic Garden from May 2003 to August 2005. Kathryn earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Connecticut, where studies spanned from 2005 to 2012, and holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology and French from Willamette University, completed in 2003.
