Crew Leader- Hat Creek Youth Initiative at California Trout

James Peterson has a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Currently, at California Trout, james holds the position of Crew Leader for the Hat Creek Youth Initiative, working on habitat restoration. At the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, james serves as a Scientific Aide ll, primarily working with ESA Fall Chinook and coho spawner crews. Additionally, as an AmeriCorps Member with the Watershed Stewards Project, james is stationed at the Mid Klamath Watershed Council focusing on fisheries restoration. With previous experience in whitewater rafting, cooking, and sustainability assessment, James has a diverse background in various fields.
