Glen Blacet

Glen Blacet, CAIA, has extensive experience in investment management, currently serving as the lead portfolio manager in the Innovative Strategies Group at CalSTRS since January 2005, focusing on research and incubation of investment strategies to enhance risk-adjusted returns. Previously, Glen held the position of portfolio manager in Global Equities at CalSTRS, managing a $55 billion portfolio and providing oversight for the Sustainable Investment Portfolio and the CalSTRS Green Initiative Task Force. Glen's career began at Barclays Global Investors as a senior portfolio manager in the International Equities Group from 1993 to 2004, and Glen served as a Command Post Controller in the United States Air Force from 1984 to 1988. Glen earned a B.S. in Finance from Arizona State University.
