James Desonier has over a decade of experience in the refining industry, currently serving as Operations Manager and previously as Operations Superintendent at Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P., overseeing operations at the Shreveport base oil plant. Prior roles at Calumet included Process Engineer for lube hydroprocessing units and Environmental Engineer, managing refinery environmental programs and permitting. James Desonier began their career as a Process Engineer at Hovensa, focusing on wastewater and auxiliary processes in a large refinery. A graduate of Louisiana State University, James Desonier holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Engineering.
