Devin Sears

Devin Sears currently serves as the Head of Quality and Regulatory Compliance at Cambrex, overseeing strategic and operational functions of five departments within a cGMP contract development and manufacturing organization, leading a team of 110 professionals focused on compliance, quality, and safety. Previously, Devin held the position of Senior Director of Operations followed by Director of Research and Development at Labstat International Inc., leading operational and R&D activities in a cGMP analytical testing facility. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Research Scientist I at Gilead Sciences, managing a research group focused on analytical methods for clinical and commercial drug substances, and working as a Research Associate at the University of Alberta. Devin earned a Postdoctoral Fellow in Chemical Physics from the University of Alberta, a PhD in Chemical Physics from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Chemistry from the University of Iowa.
