Bob Coecke

Bob Coecke is a prominent researcher in the field of quantum foundations, currently serving as Chief Scientist at Quantinuum since December 2021 and as Distinguished Visiting Research Chair at Perimeter Institute since January 2023. In addition, Bob Coecke holds the position of Emeritus Professor at Wolfson College, Oxford and Chief Scientist at Cambridge Quantum. Bob Coecke's academic career includes a significant tenure as Professor of Quantum Foundations, Logics and Structures at the University of Oxford from September 2002 to January 2021, and earlier roles at the University of Cambridge and McGill University. The educational background includes a doctorate in Architecture, Mathematics, and Physics from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, alongside further studies at the University of Oxford.
