Eduardo R. Miranda has held various positions in the field of computer science and music technology. Eduardo R. began their career in 1995 as a Lecturer in Music Technology at the University of Glasgow. In 1998, they moved on to become a Research Scientist at Sony Electronics. Eduardo R. then joined The American University of Paris in 2002 as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science. In 2006, they were appointed as the Edgar Varèse Visiting Professor of Computer Music at the Technische Universität Berlin. Eduardo R. then served as a Visiting Professor at the Université de Bordeaux from 2016 to 2021. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Visiting Researcher at Cambridge Quantum Computing - Oxford.
Eduardo R. Miranda received their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from The University of Edinburgh.
