J.R. Dehring

As Chief Financial Officer for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR), J.R. Dehring oversees all accounting and finance operations for the portfolio of CMR restaurants.

Dehring joined the CMR team in December 2018 with 15+ years of financial experience, including six years in public accounting at Grant Thornton and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Most recently, he spent five years at IGS Energy, working his way up to Vice President of Finance.

Over the course of his career, Dehring has garnered extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, investor relations and capital markets.

While he is originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Dehring grew up in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance & accounting and a master’s degree in accounting from Boston College, as well as a master’s degree in taxation from Northeastern University. He also is a certified CPA. In addition, Dehring has been a Young Professional Board Member for the American Heart Association since 2013.
