Elmira Sepehri

Elmira Sepehri is a seasoned professional in finance and data analysis, currently serving as a Senior Analyst in the Market Insights team at Canada Life since September 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Economics Department at York University from September 2021 to August 2022, and as an Investment and Economic Analyst in the Investment Management Division at Tejarat Bank from April 2017 to August 2021. Elmira also held positions as a Junior Business Data Analyst at Saipa and as a Risk Management Intern. Academic credentials encompass a Master’s degree in Economics from York University, a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering with a focus on Macroeconomic modeling from Tehran University of Economic Sciences, and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering specializing in System Analysis from Alzahra University. Currently, Elmira is pursuing a Postgraduate program in Data Science at the University of Waterloo, expected to complete in December 2025.
