Canadian Institute For Health Information
As director of Health Spending and Primary Care, Ann Chapman is responsible for leading strategy development for CIHI’s health spending and primary care data, ensuring the production of relevant and timely health information reports and products, and developing strategic initiatives within CIHI’s Data Strategies and Statistics division. She also oversees the preparation of data for the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Health Database — Canadian Segment within CIHI.
Ms. Chapman has over 20 years of progressive leadership experience at CIHI and, previously, at the Ontario Ministry of Health. Most recently, she led the development of data and standard advancement strategies and advised on emerging issues affecting Canada’s data and information needs. She holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Ottawa.
