Josh Tabish is an experienced professional in policy and advocacy, currently serving as the Director of Policy and Advocacy at CIRA since May 2019, with previous roles including Senior Manager and Public Affairs Manager within the same organization. Prior to CIRA, Josh held the position of Ford/Media Democracy Fund Tech Exchange Fellow at Fight for the Future from May 2017 to May 2019 and worked at OpenMedia.org from January 2013 to May 2017, where roles included Campaigns Director and Campaigns Manager. Additional experience includes serving as a Board Member for Media Democracy Days Vancouver and as Lead Coordinator for the Media Democracy Project. Josh Tabish holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Linguistics from Simon Fraser University and completed the Queen's Executive Leadership Program at Smith School of Business at Queen's University.
