Candice Simpson, CSCMP has a diverse work experience in procurement and contracts management. Candice started their career at Walmart Canada as a Merchandise Assistant in 2006 and went on to work in various roles at Norampac, Craaytech Painted Plastics Inc., and Gilmore Global. Candice then moved to AECL in 2011, holding positions as a Purchasing Assistant, Contracts Officer, and Senior Contracts Officer. In 2014, they joined Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, progressing from Senior Contracts Officer to Category Lead, Manager of Corporate and Professional Services Procurement, and eventually Director of Procurement Services in 2023. Throughout their career, Candice has demonstrated a strong focus on procurement and contract management.
Candice Simpson, CSCMP completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Athabasca University in 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Business Administration Materials Management and Distribution with a focus on Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management at Fleming College from 2003 to 2006. Most recently, from 2017 to 2020, they obtained certification as a Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) from the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA).
