Candela Renewables
Rick works on greenfield development and acquisitions for Candela. His most recent role prior to joining Candela was in First Solar’s project execution group, where he supported interconnection, permitting, and real estate SMEs as well as diligence efforts for acquisitions.
Before joining the project development world, Rick was director of research and business development for a political risk consulting firm in Indonesia, where he led a team providing strategic advice to multinational energy companies developing and operating facilities in the region. He was also a Fulbright grantee in Maluku, Indonesia and an AmeriCorps volunteer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Rick holds a Masters of International Affairs from the University of California-San Diego, where he focused on energy storage policy and markets.
