Cannabis Control Commission
Kate Flanagan currently serves as an Executive Assistant at the Cannabis Control Commission since December 2021. Prior to this role, Kate was an Executive Assistant at iCivics, supporting Executive Director Louise Dube from October 2019 to December 2021. Kate's experience in the Massachusetts House of Representatives includes positions as Chief of Staff for Chairman John Scibak and the House Committee on Ways and Means, as well as roles as Research Director for the Joint Committee on Labor and Workforce Development and the Joint Committee on Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development. Kate began their career as a Legislative Aide for Representative Mary Jane Simmons. Kate holds an Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies from Mount Wachusett Community College and has further education from UMass Boston.
