Cannabis Control Commission
Pauline Nguyen is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at the Cannabis Control Commission since July 2018. Previously, Pauline held multiple roles at the State Ethics Commission, including Acting General Counsel and Senior Assistant General Counsel, from August 2014 to July 2018. Early career experience includes positions as an Attorney at the Division of Professional Licensure, a Student Intern at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and a legal intern at the Immigrant Legal Resource Center. Pauline also worked as a Litigation Paralegal at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP and as a Paralegal for the ACLU of New York's Immigrants' Rights Project. Additionally, Pauline founded and directed the Sisters Program for Empowerment Action and Knowledge. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies from Harvard University.
