Rebecca Whelan is an experienced fitness professional with a diverse background in personal training and group fitness instruction. Currently serving as a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor at Capital District YMCA since April 2021, Rebecca also owns and operates Vitality Transformations Inc., which focuses on empowering individuals through resources and support for personal improvement. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Group Fitness Instructor at Schenectady County YMCA from April 2014 to April 2020 and as a Senior Program Coordinator at Schenectady Arc from May 2008 to April 2020. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Marist College and certifications as a Personal Trainer from ACE, a Health & Wellness Coach from ASFA, and a Corrective Exercise Specialist from NASM.
