Surya Parker

Surya Parker is a Research Scientist at CarbonCapture Inc. since June 2022, specializing in carbon capture technologies. Previously, Surya served as a PhD Candidate in the Jeff Long Group at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2017 to June 2022, focusing on the development of diamine-appended metal-organic framework materials for carbon capture from diverse target streams. Prior experience includes work as an Undergraduate Researcher in the John Falconer Lab at the University of Colorado Boulder from May 2016 to July 2017, where modifications of zeolite powders were explored to create materials resistant to fouling from propane adsorption. Educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
