Laura Conn

Laura Conn is an experienced media professional with a diverse background in communications and public relations. Currently serving as Media Manager at the Care Quality Commission since August 2018, Laura has previously held roles including Head of Media & PR at the National Deaf Children's Society and Press Office Manager at Parkinson's UK. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Media & PR Officer and Media and Communications Officer at Turning Point. Laura began their career in media at Palgrave Macmillan as a Publicity Assistant - Press Officer. Academically, Laura holds a Master's degree in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of St Andrews, an MSc in Psychology from the University of East London, and a Professional Certificate in Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
