Roman Balog has extensive experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry, currently serving as Head of Ocean Freight at Cargomind since April 2020. Prior to this role, Roman held significant positions at Panalpina Welttransport GmbH as Country Head of Ocean Freight Austria and at Kühne + Nagel Eastern Europe AG, where responsibilities included Regional Manager Seafreight Export Eastern Europe and various product management roles focused on reefer logistics and pharmaceuticals. Roman's earlier career includes operational roles at Maritime Freight Forwarders Spedition and Reederei Kontor Meridian. Academically, Roman holds a Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna, complemented by studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
