Frank Dehne, PhD, serves as Chancellor's Professor of Computer Science at Carleton University, a position held since July 1986, specializing in interdisciplinary research in data science and parallel computing. As the Founding Director of the Institute for Data Science, Dehne was instrumental in securing a $1M IBM startup grant for a data science research center and the establishment of a collaborative Master’s program involving 17 departments.
