Keenan Wellar

Keenan Wellar is a co-founder and the Director of Communications at LiveWorkPlay, a Canadian charity dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism. Since 1995, Keenan has played a pivotal role in developing the organization's messaging and community engagement. In addition to this primary role, Keenan serves as a panel member on the PSPC Accessibility Advisory Panel, providing advice on accessibility issues within government services. Keenan co-owns Wellstone Leadership Services, offering consulting in governance and public relations, and is involved in several volunteer roles, including mentoring at Carleton University and contributing as a writer for Nonprofit Quarterly. With a background in education, project management, and community service, Keenan combines extensive experience to advocate for accessibility and inclusion. Keenan holds advanced degrees from Carleton University and the University of Ottawa.
