Mehdi Eshaghi is a university lecturer at Carleton University since May 2021, teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses. Previously, Eshaghi served as a postdoctoral fellow at Concordia University, where involvement included conducting NSERC Engaged projects focused on vibration, stress, and fatigue analyses of articulated booms. Eshaghi also worked as a finite element and vibration analyst at Now Energy Solution, contributing to the design and installation of a major articulated structure in a cement plant. Earlier research roles included positions as a graduate research assistant at Concordia University and Iran University of Science and Technology, as well as a researcher for the National Iranian Gas Company. Eshaghi holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University and has degrees from Iran University of Science and Technology and Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz.
