Robin Chhabra, PhD, PEng, is an accomplished academic and researcher in the fields of robotics and engineering. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University since September 2024, Chhabra also holds positions as an Adjunct Research Professor and Associate Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University, where notable roles include Canada Research Chair in Cognitive Soft Space Robotics and Canada Research Chair in Autonomous Space Robotics and Mechatronics. Prior experience includes a role as a Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer at MDA and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Calgary, complemented by extensive teaching and research assistantships at prestigious institutions such as the University of Toronto.
