Megan Jensen is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in literacy instruction and program development. Currently serving as the Director of Literacy Impact and Director of Instructional Design, Curriculum & Innovation for K-5 at Carnegie Learning since November 2020, Megan has previously directed literacy initiatives at Literacy Design Collaborative, where oversight included a K-12 writing curriculum impacting 30 literacy coaches. Significant achievements also include directing a $13M i3 grant initiative for LAUSD and NYC DOE, enhancing learning outcomes for students through innovative professional development. Early career roles included reading instruction for students with learning disabilities at Westmark School and service as a U.S. Fulbright English Teaching Assistant. Megan holds a Master of Arts in International Educational Development from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Global Studies from UCLA.
