Bhupalee Kalita

Bhupalee Kalita is a Visiting Researcher at Los Alamos National Laboratory and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University, both positions held since 2023. Prior to these roles, Bhupalee served as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Irvine from September 2017 to September 2022, earning a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry. Additional experience includes working as a Research Assistant at JNCASR and a Summer Research Fellow at the Indian Academy of Sciences. Bhupalee began a research career as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the National Initiative for Undergraduate Sciences and holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Hyderabad and an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Gauhati University.
