Zi Yong Chua

Zi Yong Chua serves as the Chief Operating Officer at CARRO since April 2021, leading the transformation of "People, Process, Technology" and overseeing the overall P&L of the Marketplace across six countries. Currently, Zi Yong Chua is also a Board Member at Republic Auto Pte Ltd. Previous roles include Product Head for Global Payments at Alipay, where significant advancements in payment platforms were made for a billion-user market, and Senior Product Manager at PayPal, focusing on merchant solutions in APAC. With a background as Founder CEO of Stream Media and experience in program management and engineering internships, Zi Yong Chua possesses a strong foundation in technology and entrepreneurship, holding degrees from the National University of Singapore and the University of Pennsylvania. Notable achievements include multiple awards and a patent in AI for financial services.
